The 2020 Corsair 37 is a high-performance trimaran designed for serious cruising in remote waters. This model combines the comfort and habitability of larger monohulls with the flat-water sailing characteristics of a catamaran, while delivering the speed, safety, and unsinkability for which Corsairs are known. The hull features a shallow draft with retractable daggerboard and rudder, enabling exploration of shallow anchorages. A carbon mast and boom support a full sail plan including mainsail, jib, screecher, and asymmetrical spinnaker.
The deck layout prioritizes efficient sail handling, with halyards, topping lift, reefing, and outhaul controls positioned at the mast, while all other lines run aft to the cockpit. Sun protection is provided by a dodger and bimini. The 25 hp outboard provides auxiliary power.
The interior accommodates two cabins with a forward V-berth sleeping two adults and an aft cabin with space for two additional berths. The main cabin features a curved settee with seating for six, a functional galley with two-burner alcohol stove and pressure cold water, and an enclosed head with vanity, shower, and pumpout system. Storage is extensive throughout. The dining table converts to provide an additional bunk when needed.
This boat is equipped with lithium batteries and solar panels for independent cruising. Additional features include tinted polycarbonate cabin windows, two cockpit storage compartments, pulpit and stern rails, grey wing and bow nets, boarding ladder, and full upholstered interior furnishings. The trimaran was built to ISO and CE International standards.
