The Dehler 30 OD is a modern racing yacht designed by Judel/Vrolijk for shorthanded sailing. Built in 2020, this boat incorporates performance-focused engineering: water ballast of 200 litres per side, hard chines, a scow bow, twin rudders, a fixed bow sprit, and a carbon mast. Power comes from a 10 hp Nanni engine paired with a Stealth Drive retracting shaft and propeller system. At 33.8 feet long with a 10.8-foot beam, the yacht balances speed with manageable handling.
The sail plan by North Sails includes a 3Di square-top mainsail, a reefable medium jib, a furling inner-jib that serves as a storm jib, a furling Code 55, and A2 and A5 headsails. Navigation and autopilot are handled by B&G instrumentation, featuring a Zeus plotter, Triton displays, AIS, and a linear drive autopilot.
Below deck, the layout combines practicality with finished accommodation. Quarter berths provide sleeping space, while a marine head with door, holding tank, and unused condition occupies the head area. A single-burner galley stove and dedicated sail storage complete the interior. Lithium batteries power the systems, which are logically arranged for easy access.
The hull was freshly antifouled in May 2024. This boat works as both a competitive racer and a cruising platform capable of day sailing or overnight passages.
