2020 Delta Powerboats 88 Carbon

The Delta Powerboats 88 Carbon is a high-performance motor yacht built entirely from carbon fibre, including the superstructure. Delivered in 2020 as hull number five of the series, this 85-metre yacht combines a planing hull design with a plumb bow to deliver both speed and stability. The exterior is finished in white with black boot top and underwater sections, creating a sharp contrast. Three powerful Volvo Penta IPS-1200 diesel engines—900 horsepower each—propel the boat to 39 knots maximum speed, with a cruising speed of 26 knots and a range exceeding 600 nautical miles on a full tank of 5,500 litres.

Deck spaces are generous and thoughtfully arranged across three large outdoor entertaining areas, all with adjustable sunshades. The foredeck includes a U-shaped settee with a large sunbed and storage below. The flybridge features a wet bar with barbecue, extensive seating with a fold-out table, and a substantial sunbathing area. Throughout the yacht, practical details—such as fender lockers, side-door access near the helm, and docking stations—reflect careful engineering. The helm station sits raised for optimal sightlines and is equipped with three large Garmin screens and joystick control for the IPS system.

Interior accommodation spans six cabins across two decks. The full-beam owner's suite aft includes a walk-in wardrobe, dual-sided pop-up television, and an ensuite with twin sinks and rainfall shower. A VIP cabin forward offers generous space with private ensuite. Two midships guest cabins are flexible—configurable as doubles or singles—each with ensuite and climate control. Separate crew quarters feature two bunk cabins, a compact galley, shared bathroom, and a systems control panel. A laundry room serves the main accommodation area.

The main saloon employs a cohesive Nordic aesthetic with a lounging zone and dining area, while the galley is well-equipped with Miele appliances, dishwasher, electric hob, and oven. The helm features adjustable lift-bolster seats, with the centre position electrically height-adjustable, and overlooks the deck through a forward-sloping windscreen and large glass roof opening.
