2020 Fountain 43 NX

The 2020 Fountain 43 NX is a center console sportfish powered by quad Mercury Verado 400Rs delivering 1,200 horsepower. Built on a fiberglass hull with a Positive Lift design featuring a double step, pad keel, and notched transom, the boat combines a bonded composite construction with an infused hull system. The deck is self-bailing and anti-skid, supported by a fiberglass stringer grid. A white powder-coated T-Top with overhead storage frames the helm, which features triple-wide seating with bolsters and articulating armrests.

The cockpit layout emphasizes both comfort and fishing capability. U-shaped bow seating, a double-wide forward chaise lounge, and full-width aft bench seating provide ample room for entertaining. Three fish boxes with diaphragm discharge pumps, six gunwale-mounted rod holders integrated with cupholders, and full gunwale bolsters with recessed handrails support serious fishing. A dive door with integrated ladder and slide-in safety ladder enhance functionality.

Below deck, a fully appointed cabin includes reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating, a galley with microwave, refrigerator, and Corian countertops, a pressurized shower, and an enclosed head with vanity and holding tank. The sleeping area features a custom full-size mattress with bedding.

Electronics are comprehensive: dual Simrad 16-inch NSS EVO3 multifunction displays with Broadband CHIRP sonar, a Halo 24 radar with 48-mile range, RS40 AIS VHF radio, autopilot, and engine monitoring. Premium JL Audio powers the sound system through an 800-watt 8-channel amplifier and 400-watt mono amplifier driving ten speakers and two 10-inch subwoofers. Additional equipment includes Seastar Optimus joystick-ready steering, Livorsi hydraulic trim tabs, a 500-gallon fuel tank, 110V inverter, thru-hull windlass with stainless anchor, and fresh and raw-water washdowns. The boat features custom white paint with red accents and includes a cockpit galley with fridge, freezer, grill, and sink.
