The 2020 Hell's Bay Professional is a 17.8-foot shallow water technical poling skiff built for precision fishing in demanding flats conditions. Its composite hull uses vacuum-infused core cell construction throughout with a carbon fiber stringer system, delivering a dry and stable ride while remaining light enough to pole effortlessly. The boat is fitted with a Yamaha F70 engine (374 hours, freshly serviced) paired with a newly installed Minn Kota Terrova RT80 trolling motor with Spot Lock technology and lithium batteries with charger.
The layout prioritizes casting access with a forward platform, aft deck seating, and undergunwale rod storage accommodating rods up to nine feet. A plumbed livewell with aerator and pump keeps baitfish fresh. The console is equipped with a newly installed nine-inch Simrad display, tachometer, water pressure gauge, and hydraulic steering. Additional features include a jack plate with blinker switch, electric trim tab system, LED navigation lights, stainless steel propeller, and automatic bilge pump. A 22-gallon powder-coated aluminum fuel tank is integrated into the hull.
Construction details include spray rails, heavy duty rub rail, and quiet sealed hatches with oversized gutters and rubber gaskets. The platform is anodized aluminum with Marine EVA foam decking and matching reel pads in the cockpit. The boat comes with a custom aluminum Ram-Lin dry launch trailer fitted with stainless axle and aluminum wheels, a Stiffy Guide 21-foot push pole, and a cooler console.
