2020 Leopard 45

The Leopard 45 is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Yanmar 4JH45 diesel engines. Built in 2020, she cruises at 7 knots and features a 24-foot beam that creates generous interior volume. The boat is outfitted with comprehensive systems including a 9kW Northern Lights generator, Sea Recovery watermaker, built-in inverter, and Raymarine navigation suite. Solar panels and electric windlass round out the propulsion and mechanical systems.

The layout comprises five cabins and five heads, arranged to accommodate extended cruising. A full-sized weather-tight door connects the saloon and galley to the forward cockpit, creating an open flow throughout the main living areas. The interior features air conditioning in all cabins and saloon when operating on shore power or generator. Natural light floods the saloon during the day, with accent lighting for evening use. Storage is distributed across hanging lockers, drawers, and under-floor compartments.

Deck spaces are notably expansive. A hardtop spans from aft to forward cockpit, providing shade for the helm station and social areas. The aft cockpit includes a plumbed-in propane barbecue and additional refrigeration. Motorized dinghy davits and a forward-facing bow camera are installed. The primary winch operates via footswitch, and all lines lead to convenient winches positioned around the deck. Interior amenities include a three-burner propane stove, flat-screen television, Fusion stereo, electric heads, and both interior and exterior refrigeration.
