2020 M.A.T. 1070

The M.A.T. 1070 is a 35-foot composite-hulled sailing yacht designed by Nivelt-Muratet Yacht Design, built to combine racing performance with cruising capability. The boat features modern hydrodynamic design principles and high form stability, with an open cockpit layout suited to both competition and passage-making.

Recent upgrades position this yacht for competitive racing. The mast and rigging are new carbon construction, completed in 2024 along with a new keel and deck. The running rigging is Maffioli, and rod rigging is in place. An Incidence sails pack rounds out the propulsion suite, paired with symmetrical spinnaker equipment including a carbon pole.

Navigation and deck systems are centered on a B&G H5000 electronics package with integrated autopilot. The boat carries an ORC 2025 rating of 526.6. The hull carries Hempel hard racing black paint. The interior remains in very good condition and has never been slept in, preserving the original finishes throughout the boat.
