2020 Nor-Tech 550 Sport Center Console

The 2020 Nor-Tech 550 Sport is a 55-foot center console powered by four Mercury V12 600-hp engines with only 50 hours of operation. Built on a fiberglass hull, this boat combines high-performance capability with luxury accommodations rarely found in the center console category. A Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilization system manages hull roll in rough conditions, while a Northern Lights diesel generator supplies independent power for onboard systems.

Two master staterooms anchor the accommodation plan, each with an enclosed shower and head. The galley is fully equipped with outdoor grill, stove, freezer, ice-maker, and refrigerator. Climate control includes separate AC units serving both staterooms and the helm/deck area. Electronic privacy glass shifts from clear to opaque, and a projection TV with retractable screen and Apple TV are installed in the cockpit.

The boat is rigged for serious offshore fishing with outriggers, downriggers, a 60-gallon live-well, bait station, and tuna tubes. A self-contained Brownie's Third Lung Snuba system enables diving operations. An oversized T-top with SureShade power extension provides shade over the cockpit, complemented by full isinglass enclosure and storage cover.

Navigation and electronics include dual 22-inch Garmin GPS units, FLIR thermal imaging, sonar, autopilot, and TracVision satellite. The helm features Joystick Piloting control for all four engines. The boat was observed cruising comfortably at 60 mph while heavily loaded.
