2020 Princess V40

The 2020 Princess V40 is a 42-foot cruiser built on a deep-V fiberglass hull, powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 660 horsepower. She reaches speeds of up to 37 knots and cruises comfortably at 25 knots. The boat features joystick control for intuitive maneuvering, trim tabs for stability, and a hydraulic bathing platform integrated into the transom.

The exterior showcases a striking design with cascading port light windows along the hull that flood the interior with natural light. The spacious cockpit centers on a teak table with a well-equipped wetbar finished in oyster grey, while a soft-top sunbed provides shade forward and aft. A generous teak cockpit and electric windlass complete the deck layout.

Below, the saloon and galley create an open entertaining space defined by a modern pewter grey and off-white palette. The interior galley includes a sink, refrigerator, two-burner hob, and microwave, while an outdoor galley adds a grill and additional sink. The two cabins offer contemporary styling and generous proportions; the forward cabin includes an en-suite bathroom with secondary access to the saloon, and the aft cabin accommodates flexible sleeping arrangements. One head serves the yacht.

Equipment includes a Raymarine Hybridtouch GPS system, radar, depth sounder, autopilot, and VHF radio. Air conditioning, a 5-kilowatt Kohler generator, watermaker, diesel heater, and bow thruster round out the systems. Television and Fusion radio are fitted in the saloon and forward cabin, with WiFi antenna and a 12V/220V converter throughout. EPIRB beacon and offshore equipment complete the outfit.
