The 2020 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 25-foot pilothouse cruiser built on a fiberglass planning hull and powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha outboard engine with 110 hours of use. The boat features a bow thruster, 10,000 BTU air conditioning, Garmin autopilot and radar, and a 140-watt solar panel with controller. A 20-amp battery charger, Kenyon electric grill, and custom canvas for the rear bulkhead and bimini extension are included. The extended swim platform and handrails aft of the motor provide safe access for boarding, fishing, and water sports without interference from engine rigging.
The main salon is bright and airy with a dinette that seats four and converts to a bed for two. A spacious quarter berth with removable mattress offers additional sleeping space or storage. The galley is fully equipped with an electric and alcohol stove top, refrigerator and freezer combination, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water. The private enclosed head includes a sink.
The forward stateroom is fitted with a large bed, opening hatches for ventilation, reading lights, and a television with DVD player. The boat's Laminar Flow Interrupter technology delivers smooth, positive handling. A Garmin 1242xsv chartplotter with GPS, transducer, and sonar provides navigation and performance monitoring. Safety equipment aboard includes a kit with fenders, lines, flares, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, life jackets, and boat hook.
