2020 Ranger Tugs R-25

The 2020 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 25-foot fiberglass trawler built for comfortable cruising and fishing. A defining feature is the extended swim platform with handrails that runs aft of the outboard motor, creating a clear, safe walkway for boarding a dinghy, accessing a low dock, or handling fish without obstruction. The platform design also simplifies med-tying and makes it easy for pets to board.

The main salon is bright and open, with a dinette that seats four and converts to a bed for two. A removable quarter berth provides additional sleeping space or storage. The galley is fully equipped with an electric and alcohol cooktop, refrigerator and freezer combo, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water. A private, enclosed head with sink completes the accommodations.

The forward stateroom offers a large bed, opening hatches for ventilation, reading lights, and a TV/DVD player. Powered by a Yamaha 250 HP outboard, the boat reaches 36 knots maximum and cruises at 25 knots. The planing hull is paired with Ranger Tugs' patented Laminar Flow Interrupter technology for smooth handling. Navigation is managed through a Garmin 1242xsv chartplotter with GPS, transducer, and sonar. The boat is designed to be trailerable for easier transport and storage.
