2020 Ranger Tugs R-31 CB

The 2020 Ranger Tugs R-31 CB is a 31-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single Volvo D4 diesel engine producing 300 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots. The boat features a retractable flybridge with electronic controls at both upper and lower helms, allowing the flybridge to fold down for trailering capability. A custom cockpit enclosure extends the usable outdoor space with wraparound seating and fold-out gunwale seats that stow when not in use.

The interior layout includes two staterooms: a large forward island berth with en suite head and a midship berth with day head. The galley and lower helm station are designed to maximize interior space, and a starboard door provides direct access from the helm to the side decks for line handling. The foredeck is fitted with seating and a table that raises and lowers for entertaining at anchor or underway.

Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters and an aft steering station. The boat comes with an included trailer, making it trailerable with a three-quarter-ton pickup truck. The R-31 CB combines the design principles of smaller Ranger Tug models with additional features suited for extended cruising while maintaining trailerable dimensions.
