2020 Ranger Tugs R-31 CB

The 2020 Ranger Tugs R-31 CB is a 31-foot fiberglass trawler designed for extended cruising while retaining trailerable capability. Powered by a Volvo D4 300-horsepower diesel engine, it cruises at 13.9 knots with a top speed near 20 knots. The boat introduces several features new to the Ranger Tug lineup, including a retractable flybridge with control stations at both upper and lower helms, enabling the boat to be trailed despite its size.

Deck space is generous for a boat this length. The foredeck carries a table and seating arrangement that adjusts between underway and anchored positions. The flybridge features wraparound seating, and the cockpit includes additional fold-away seating from the gunwales, creating flexible entertainment space that stows neatly when not in use. A starboard door at the lower helm provides direct access to the side decks for bow work.

The interior holds three cabins and one head. The forward stateroom features an island berth with an en suite head, while a midship cabin provides additional sleeping space alongside a day head. The galley and lower helm station are arranged to maximize usable interior volume. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters and optional aft steering capability, supporting easy handling in tight spaces and during various operating conditions.
