The 2020 Scout 235 Dorado is a 23-foot composite sportfish powered by a single Yamaha 4.2L V6 250-horsepower outboard with digital controls. The boat achieves cruising speeds around 28 knots and tops out near 41 knots. It runs approximately 290 hours and incorporates Scout's NuV3 fuel-efficient hull technology.

The layout prioritizes fishing and family use with a full-width Esthetic swim platform and integrated ladder across the transom, a fold-down port-side seat with table, fully cushioned bow seating, and a stern transom seat.
