The 2020 Sea Ray SLX 280 is a 28-foot bowrider built on a high-performance vinylester hull finished in Arctic White. The boat features Sea Ray's QuietRide™ technology with a tuned transom designed to reduce vibration and improve ride quality. Construction details include stainless steel hardware throughout—bow and stern eyes, six thru-bolted cleats, grab handles, and a ski tow. The gel coat finish, PVC rub rail with stainless insert, and stainless steel navigation lights reflect solid build quality.

The cockpit layout prioritizes comfort and social boating. A bow walk-thru with acrylic door leads to bow loungers with flip-down armrests and storage below. The helm features a sliding bench with flip-up thigh-rise bolster, paired with a companion seat that rotates and slides. An L-shaped aft cockpit seating area provides additional gathering space, while an aft sun pad with gas-assisted lift and integrated storage extends usable lounging area. Eighteen stainless steel beverage holders and a carry-on cooler keep drinks accessible throughout the boat.

Navigation and controls center on dual Simrad GO9 nine-inch touchscreen displays with preloaded charts, fishfinder, depth, and water temperature readouts. The NAUTIC-ON smart boat system offers remote monitoring and diagnostics through Sea Ray Connect.
