This 2020 SeaVee 290B is a 29-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Mercury engines delivering 600 horsepower. The boat combines fishing capability with open-water performance typical of the SeaVee platform.
The helm features an extensive electronics package: dual Garmin 8612 multifunction displays, enclosed Garmin radar array, autopilot screen, and VHF radio. An 8-foot Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor with wireless remote and 24-volt lithium battery system allows GPS-positioned holding without running the main engines. The helm includes a full polycarbonate enclosure and cooler slide-out storage. Seadeck covers the deck throughout.
The boat is outfitted for fishing with a 70-gallon bow fish hatch fitted with macerator, three-piece outriggers, and an aft removable bench seat with backrest. Additional amenities include a Media Master JL stereo head unit, swim ladder, and three new AGM batteries. The engines recently completed a 300-hour service. An external battery charger supports the trolling motor's lithium system.
