2020 World Cat 230 CC

This 2020 World Cat 230 CC is a 23-foot catamaran built on a fiberglass hull, powered by twin 230-horsepower Yamaha engines. The boat reaches speeds up to 42 knots and cruises comfortably at 26 knots. Its generous 8.5-foot beam creates an expansive cockpit larger than typical for boats of this size, while the shallow 9-inch draft allows access to shallow water.

The layout centers on fishing capability. A 30-gallon livewell, paired with substantial forward fish boxes on port and starboard with overboard drains, supports serious angling. The cockpit accommodates ten people comfortably, with full seat cushions and backrests forward. Additional storage throughout the boat, a freshwater wash-down tank, and a removable rack for six scuba tanks round out the functional design.

Electronics include a Garmin 8610 GPS chartplotter and a new Garmin VHF radio. Radar is installed. Two 44-gallon fuel tanks supply the engines. The boat runs on lithium trolling motor batteries with an onboard charger, and carries fresh engine batteries with charger installed in November.

The twin engines show 452 operating hours and have received 50-hour and 100-hour maintenance since new. Recent work includes new stainless steel brake pads and rotors, new wheel bearings and bearing buddies, and an electric-over-hydraulic brake system. A full heavy-duty cover is included.
