2021 Adonia Calypso Trip #3 (June 14-20)

This 78-foot aluminum houseboat features a custom reverse floor plan designed to maximize interior and outdoor living spaces. Twin diesel engines rated at 170 horsepower provide propulsion, supported by dual 25-kilowatt diesel generators. The boat carries 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel in main tanks plus 500 gallons of auxiliary gasoline capacity, with a 900-gallon holding tank system. An 8,000-watt inverter and 24-battery house system provide onboard power, complemented by a UVB fresh water processing system.

The interior accommodates up to 20 guests with sleeping berths for 30 adults across two private master suites with king beds and full baths, four upper-level king-bed suites, three queen-bed cuddy cabins, and two kids' cuddies. Five bathrooms include three three-quarter baths and two half baths, with custom ceramic tile, granite countertops, and tile showers in the master and hall facilities. Central air conditioning and heating, full carpeting in living areas and bedrooms, and custom furnishings throughout create a complete interior environment.

The galley features full-size stainless steel range and oven, a 66-inch refrigerator-freezer combination, commercial-grade ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor, and washer-dryer combo. The upper deck includes a full bar with granite counters, sink, ice maker, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, and seating for ten. Multiple entertainment centers with 60-inch televisions, satellite TV systems, surround sound, DVD players, and iPod docking stations are distributed throughout the main salon, upper deck, and master stateroom.

The third-level sun deck features dual couches with sleeping pads and two queen day beds, with a teak table seating ten nearby. Full black mesh screening and 52-inch ceiling fans protect the front and upper decks. An extended swim platform with custom water stairs, PWC ramps with winches, and rear deck slide with water pump complete the outdoor setup. Electronic navigation equipment includes complete instrument panels at both helm positions with backup camera, marine radios, anchoring system with four windlass heads, navigation and anchor lights, and spotlight.
