The 2021 Ascend 133X is a 13-foot sit-on recreational kayak built around a one-piece rotomolded catamaran-style hull engineered for stability and tracking. The titanium finish defines its appearance, while the design prioritizes both fishing performance and everyday paddling comfort.
Seating features an adjustable high-back system with underseat storage and cushioned, nonskid flooring. The open cockpit layout includes recessed bow and stern storage areas, a midship dry hatch measuring 10.9 by 14.8 inches, and molded tackle storage along each side. Four 16-inch accessory rails run the gunwales, supporting two flush-mounted rod holders and allowing customization with additional tackle and electronics. Adjustable foot braces accommodate paddlers of different heights and reinforce the hull's stability.
The Yak-Power system comes pre-wired with a master controller and three power plugs, supported by an integrated trolling motor harness with 50-amp circuit protection. The kayak is ready for bow-mount trolling motor installation and compatible with stern motor and Power-Pole micro anchor setups. Nine self-draining scupper drains with plugs, a sealed threaded drain plug, and carrying handles built into the frame simplify transport and water management. The nonskid cushioned flooring and catamaran hull combine to create a stable platform for fishing or casual paddling.
