The 2021 Beneteau Gran Turismo 40 is a 40-foot fiberglass cruiser designed by Nuvolari and Lenard with sporty, clean lines and extensive glazing throughout. The hull features Beneteau's Air Step® technology with sandwich construction, while the white hull is accented by black trim and a large swim platform. Two Volvo D6-380 diesel engines delivering 760 horsepower provide strong acceleration and quick planing.
The deck and cockpit are standout features. The enormous self-bailing cockpit seats up to eight people comfortably, with a solid wood table that converts into a sun lounger. A full canvas enclosure protects the space, and a built-in galley with sink serves the entertaining area. The 10.5-foot swim platform has a shower and boarding ladder access. An electric windlass with remote control, stainless steel mooring hardware, and handrails on all deck transitions support safe operation.
Below decks, the accommodations center on two cabins and a head, all with good headroom around 6'4". The forward owner's cabin has a 4'7" x 6'7" double berth with panorama windows and extensive storage. The guest cabin offers flexible sleeping with either two singles or one double berth, plus large storage lockers totaling 438 liters. The galley features a stainless steel sink, two-burner gas cooktop, 80-liter refrigerator, and Corian countertops. The head includes a separate shower with translucent door and 80-liter holding tank. Walnut and oak woodwork, LED lighting, and teak decking throughout create a refined interior.
Notable equipment includes a power sunroof, hydraulic swim platform, Onan 5kw generator, reverse-cycle heat and air conditioning, joystick docking control, and a full cockpit canvas enclosure. Dual 325-liter fuel tanks support extended cruising.
