2021 Chaparral 280 OSX

The 2021 Chaparral 280 OSX is a 27-foot bowrider powered by twin 500-horsepower Yamaha outboards, delivering a top speed of 58 mph. The fiberglass hull design balances performance with generous seating throughout the open cockpit layout, suited for day cruising and entertaining.

The boat includes a hardtop with an added light bar controlled from the helm, joystick auxiliary control, and snap-in carpet runners plus snap-button covers for the interior. A head is present, unused. Twin outboards provide reliability and ease of maintenance, with freshwater and light brackish operation history on the Susquehanna River.

Maintenance has been consistent: regular oil and fuel filter changes with engine flushing after each use. The hull received a white bottom paint, and upholstered surfaces have been treated with UV protectant and frequent washing. The boat was stored in a dry garage using a lift rather than left in the water. A triple-axle aluminum Coyote trailer is included.
