2021 Chaparral 280 OSX

The 2021 Chaparral 280 OSX is a 28-foot open-bow runabout built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Yamaha F250 outboards deliver 500 horsepower, with just 92 hours recorded on the engines. Joystick control is standard, offering responsive handling and maneuverability typical of modern performance bowriders.

The boat accommodates family and friends across a spacious open layout, anchored by a full wet bar with refrigeration. Below, a marine head with macerator serves the needs of extended outings. A freshwater shower system is included, along with trim tabs and a windlass for anchor work.

Equipment spans electronics, comfort, and safety: twin Simrad NSS7 multifunction displays, an Optimus 360 positioning system, and Bluetooth stereo round out the cabin experience. A battery charger keeps systems topped, and a USCG safety kit is on board. The boat comes with a sport arch top, bow cover, and cockpit cover to protect the brightwork and upholstery when not in use.
