2021 Dufour Exclusive 56

The 2021 Dufour Exclusive 56 is a full-featured cruising sailboat built to support extended offshore passages with comfort and performance. At 52 feet, it combines substantial volume with refined design across its deck and interior, powered by a single 110 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine with feathering propeller to optimize sailing efficiency.

The interior accommodates three cabins plus an independent skipper's berth, each with electric toilet and blackwater tank. The main saloon features a Boston-style finish in teak, Corian, and gray Rabbani fabric, with an electric pedestal table that adapts the living space. The galley is comprehensively equipped with refrigeration, freezer, 220V microwave, electric seawater pump, and espresso machine. Additional systems include a 100 L/h desalinator, generator, reversible air conditioning with dehumidifier, and 220V electrical system with charger and supplementary batteries—all designed to sustain comfort during prolonged cruising.

The cockpit functions as an outdoor living area, fitted with natural teak seating and cushions, an integrated refrigerator, and the signature Dufour plancha with hot and cold water connections. A sunbathing platform, deck shower with hot and cold water, and full teak covering on the cockpit and aft platform extend the usable space. A bimini awning and boarding gate with handrail provide weather protection.

The sailplan includes a full-batten mainsail with lazy bag, self-tacking jib, Code 0, offshore sails, and hydraulic adjustable backstay with rigid downhauls. Deck operations are managed through grouped controls at the helm with German-system winches, T55 primary winches, and one electric roof winch. Navigation relies on a complete Raymarine suite: dual 12-inch AXIOM displays, Evolution autopilot, digital 18-inch Quantum radar, VHF with remote station, AIS transceiver, and 4G router. The boat also carries a retractable electric bow thruster with remote control, 1600W dual-command electric anchor winch with chain counter, inox bow roller, a Hypalon dinghy with Torqeedo electric outboard, and offshore safety equipment for eight people.
