2021 Fairline Targa 53

The Fairline Targa 53 is a 55-foot express cruiser built with meticulous attention to both design and construction. Twin Volvo Penta D11-725 engines delivering 1,450 horsepower provide spirited performance, with a maximum speed of 32 knots. The hull is fiberglass, and the boat rides on fixed propeller shafts with bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering.

The cockpit is expansive and fitted with a full custom tent, creating a comfortable outdoor living space suited to extended cruising in varied weather. Two heavy Eberspächer diesel heating systems—one for the interior and one dedicated to warming the cockpit—work in concert with the tent and large windows to extend the boating season. A wet bar with dual refrigeration and sink, high/low 42-inch LCD television with Fusion audio, sun lounger cushions on the foredeck, and an electrically retractable sun canopy complete the cockpit environment.

Interior accommodations include three spacious cabins. The owner's cabin amidships features a storage unit and en-suite head. Forward is the VIP cabin with a convertible bed frame and en-suite bathroom. A guest cabin to starboard offers two single beds. All cabins receive abundant natural light through large hull windows and are equipped with LCD televisions and Fusion stereo systems throughout. The galley features a three-burner induction cooktop, dishwasher, full refrigerator with separate freezer, and combination microwave-convection oven.

Onboard systems include a 17.5-kilowatt Onan generator, Mastervolt battery charger and inverter, complete air conditioning, Garmin navigation with 12-inch touchscreen displays and autopilot, VHF radio, and camera system. A hydraulic swim platform with 500-kilogram lift capacity and remote control provides water access, while a hydraulic garage with air compressor, winch, and roller system accommodates a Williams tender. Additional features include underwater lighting, freshwater deck wash system, and interior ambient lighting with dimmers throughout.
