The 2021 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 is a composite catamaran designed for serious cruising, built on a beam of over 25 feet to deliver stability and spacious living. Twin 120-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines drive her to a cruising speed of 8 knots, with a top speed of 10 knots. The raised helm offers commanding visibility over the cockpit and saloon, while the contemporary exterior incorporates practical deck spaces for both relaxation and safe handling.
The Maestro owner's configuration provides three cabins and three heads across the twin hulls. The starboard hull houses the owner's suite with a queen berth, vanity, storage, and a private ensuite with separate shower. The port hull accommodates two guest cabins, each with their own ensuite, plus a crew cabin forward. The bright saloon flows into the galley and cockpit, creating an integrated social and dining area suited to extended time at sea.
The sail plan includes an electric winch, screecher with 5-ton furler, and efficient rigging designed for easy handling. Solar panels support onboard power autonomy, and B&G electronics provide full navigation capability. Onboard systems include a washing machine, dishwasher, and generous refrigeration and storage. A 3.6-meter Hypalon tender with a 20-horsepower Suzuki outboard rounds out the equipment package.
