The 2021 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 is a fiberglass catamaran measuring 45.7 feet with a 25.3-foot beam. Twin Volvo Penta D2-60 diesel engines deliver 120 horsepower and cruise at 9 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots. The hull underwent work in May 2025 and features folding three-blade propellers.
The interior includes three cabins and three heads, all air-conditioned. The galley features a new induction cooktop, multifunctional oven, dishwasher, and an additional vertical freezer alongside the standard refrigeration. Laundry capability comes from a combined washer-dryer. All three heads are electric with freshwater. The salon and forward lounge areas have cushioned seating, and there is natural teak in the cockpit and transom areas.
Power and water systems are well-equipped: solar panels, Fischer Panda generator, 2000W inverter-charger, additional 150A AGM battery, low-consumption 12V watermaker producing 60 liters per hour, and pressurized seawater. A 220V 50Hz shore power connection with automatic bilge pump controls is fitted.
Navigation and communication systems include dual Garmin Smart Cruising setups with autopilot, VHF, AIS, dual GPS, and multifunction displays, plus radar with support and cabling. A supplemental electric windlass with chain counter, electric genoa and mainsail winches, and dual VHF-AIS stations complete the helm. Sails include a full-batten mainsail with lazy jacks, lazy bag, and gennaker with pole. Deck amenities include a propane barbecue, hot-water shower, enlarged hydraulic davits at the stern for tender and paddleboard storage, and mooring equipment with spare anchor and 25kg chain.
