The Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47 is a fiberglass sailing catamaran built in 2021 at the La Rochelle shipyard. Designed by Berret-Racoupeau naval architects, this 47-foot catamaran spans 25 feet across the beam and delivers responsive handling suitable for both coastal and bluewater sailing, with a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. She is powered by a single Volvo Penta engine and equipped with a high-capacity air conditioning system and 11 kW generator for comfort and autonomy.
The Tanna 47 is configured in the Quintet layout with six cabins and five heads, plus separate crew quarters. The master suite occupies the port hull with a queen-size bed, dedicated vanity area, and separate shower. Five additional cabins—including four double cabins and one single cabin—each feature private heads with queen-size beds and generous storage. One cabin is uniquely accessible from the cockpit. A crew cabin in the starboard forepeak provides private quarters with its own head.
The saloon is defined by panoramic windows and seamless indoor-outdoor flow through wide sliding glass doors to the cockpit. A U-shaped galley provides over 1,400 liters of storage and substantial counter space for meal preparation. A navigation station and comfortable lounge area complete the main living spaces. Throughout the yacht, large hull windows and multiple opening hatches ensure abundant natural light and ventilation.
Fresh water and fuel capacities are generous. The boat is equipped with a high-efficiency watermaker and expansive solar panel array to support extended autonomous cruising. The helm station is ergonomically designed with excellent visibility and is configured to allow comfortable short-handed operation.
