The 2021 Hallberg-Rassy 44 is a fiberglass sailing yacht 47 feet in length, built by the Swedish yard known for blue-water cruising boats. It is powered by a single 100-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine and features a Selden furling mast with cockpit control, complemented by a full suite of Raymarine electronics including dual AXIOM PRO 12 and i70 multifunction displays, AIS, radar, and autopilot.
The yacht accommodates two cabins with two heads. The main saloon features starboard sofas and a galley on the port side. The aft cabin is fitted with two side berths. Interior finishes include mahogany cabinetry and teak decking. A sliding firewall separates the saloon from the entrance, and the bimini features closeable windows on stainless frames. Deck equipment includes an aft folding ladder, stainless steel rubbing strakes, mooring and spring cleats, and a shower on the bathing platform.
Systems include a Webasto heating unit, cold and hot water throughout, an inverter/charger (Mass Combi Ultra 12/3000), shore power with 50-amp isolator, and bilge-level alarm. The galley is equipped with a gas stove and oven, hand pump for seawater, and an additional refrigerator/freezer. Two electric bow and stern thrusters provide maneuverability, along with an electric windlass and anchor chain counter. An 8mm galvanized chain (70 meters) and 27 kg anchor are included.
The sail plan comprises an Elvstrom mainsail with DCX cloth and a Genoa jib with UV protection. A gennaker is included with its equipment and fittings. Deck hardware consists of Lewmar electric sheet and halyard winches, and a rope cutter protects the propeller shaft. Additional features include emergency engine start from service batteries, gas heating and cooking with leak analyzer, and comprehensive navigation lighting.
