2023 Island Packet 439

The 2023 Island Packet 439 is a 47-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built for extended offshore passages. Powered by a Beta Marine diesel engine of 70 horsepower, the yacht achieves a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and a maximum speed of 7.4 knots. The boat is equipped with a four-blade feathering propeller, bow thruster, and MaxProp reversible drive for precise maneuvering.

Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and two heads. The main saloon features dual captain's chairs to port and dining seating with foot stools. Accommodations include a Mediterranean galley with three-burner LPG range and oven, plus refrigeration and freezer units. Climate control is provided by three Mabru air and heating systems and a Webasto diesel cabin heater with hot water. A Splendide washer and dryer combination is installed.

The boat is extensively outfitted for blue-water cruising. Systems include 4 Victron LiFePO4 house batteries, dual 395-watt solar panels, a Victron MultiPlus charger and inverter, a Northern Lights 6kW generator with modified cooling system, and a Spectra watermaker. Electronics comprise a full Raymarine suite with Doppler radar, CHIRP sonar, and autopilot; Icom SSB and VHF radios; Iridium Go and Starlink satellite communication systems; and complete sailing instrumentation. The main sail features Selden synchronized furling, electric furling for the headsail, and Harken electric winches. Sails are Quantum Fusion Membrane. A hard dodger, bimini top with connectors, and full cockpit enclosure with side glass and screens are fitted.

Additional equipment includes a Lofrans electric windlass with chain counter and dual anchors, underwater LED lights, a Highfield tender with 9.9-horsepower Yamaha outboard, a six-person offshore life raft, and comprehensive safety systems.
