The 2021 Key West 188 Bay Reef is an 18.67-foot fiberglass center console built for shallow-water performance. Its V-bottomed hull delivers a smooth, dry ride even in choppy conditions, and the design performs efficiently with a single 115-horsepower Yamaha engine. The boat draws minimal fuel while maintaining capability across varied water conditions.

The 188 Bay Reef prioritizes fishing functionality. The layout features expansive front and rear casting decks, front and rear live wells for bait and catch, and abundant rod storage throughout. Battery storage for both the main cranking and trolling motor systems tucks neatly beneath the console floor. A lift-out storage tub provides convenient access to bilge areas.
