The 2021 Lagoon 40 is a fiberglass catamaran built and designed for stability, volume, and ease of handling. At nearly 125 feet long with a 73-foot beam, she offers the spacious platform the class is known for. Twin Yammer SD60 diesel engines of 45 horsepower each provide reliable propulsion, with approximately 1,000 hours on the engines.
The owner's version features a three-cabin layout with the primary suite spanning the entire port hull. The main saloon is light and airy, with panoramic windows and generous headroom. The galley includes a three-burner gas stove, oven, and substantial refrigerator and freezer. A watermaker producing 60 liters per hour, generator, and an extensive solar array of 1,980 watts paired with 2,100 amp-hour lithium batteries support extended cruising. Navigation and sailing systems include a B&G/AIRMAR suite with autopilot, AIS, radar, and chartplotter. A second independent autopilot, submersible pump with separate generator, and a Jordan Serious Drogue strengthen the safety systems. The square top mainsail, self-tacking jib, parasailor, and new gennaker provide flexible sail options, controlled by a Harken electric winch.
The teak cockpit features an electric winch, helm bimini, and upgraded cushions. A Highfield 290C tender with a Yamaha 9.9 horsepower four-stroke outboard and blue Sunbrella cover complete the package. Recent maintenance includes fresh antifoul, a new ropecutter, engine service in November 2025, and a new 100-meter Duplex anchor chain installed in December 2025.
