2021 Lagoon 40

The 2021 Lagoon 40 is a fiberglass catamaran built on Lagoon's Elegance Line platform, combining comfort with capable cruising performance. She features dual Yanmar 4JH45 diesel engines delivering 45 horsepower each, with folding propellers and a sail drive system. The boat reaches a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 9 knots, supported by 400 liters of fuel capacity spread across two tanks.

The accommodation sleeps eight across three cabins and two heads. The owner's suite occupies the port hull with a double bed, ensuite facilities, separate shower, and dedicated work desk. Two additional double cabins sit on the starboard side—one aft and one forward—with the forward cabin housing a washing machine. The expansive saloon features a convertible dining table and L-shaped leather sofa that seats eight guests, with a Samsung television and Fusion sound system. Galley amenities include a three-hob gas stove, oven, dual refrigeration units, filtered water system, and stainless steel fixtures.

Power and freshwater systems reflect modern cruising expectations. Four solar panels feed a full Victron electrical setup including a 3kW inverter and 400Ah lithium battery bank installed in April 2025. A Schenker Zen watermaker produces 30 liters per hour, while 600 liters of water storage supply the boat. Navigation electronics comprise a B&G suite with 12-inch chart plotter, dual multifunction displays, HALO20+ radar, and AIS. Rigging includes stainless steel standing gear, fully-battened Dacron mainsail with three reefs, Dacron jib, and an 80-square-meter gennaker.

Deck equipment spans an electric windlass with remote control, twin anchors with bridles, teak decking in cockpit and transoms, folding passerelle, and comprehensive canvas including winter enclosure and window sunshades. A 290CL Highfield tender with 15HP Suzuki outboard and paddleboard complete the inventory. Exterior hull protection was applied with epoxy primer and coppercoat in April 2024. Safety gear includes a four-person life raft, EPIRB, multiple life jackets, sea anchor, and grab bag.
