The 2021 Leopard 43 Powercat is a modern power catamaran built on a stepped hull design that increases interior volume by 27 percent compared to earlier models while maintaining efficiency and performance. Twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 640 horsepower deliver a maximum speed of 23 knots with a cruising speed of 15 knots. The narrower hulls and reduced wetted surface area contribute to both agility and fuel economy. At 43 feet in length with a 22-foot beam, the wide stance provides exceptional stability and deck space.
The interior features three cabins and two heads across a thoughtfully planned layout. The starboard hull houses a dedicated owner's suite with a spacious master cabin, private head, and large separate shower compartment. Guest cabins occupy the remaining space, finished throughout in light blonde wood that enhances the sense of openness. The galley is positioned forward, with dining and seating aft, creating distinct living zones. An 8LV320 battery system and water maker are installed.
The flybridge spans the full beam and offers 360-degree sightlines for navigation and entertaining, while the aft cockpit provides additional outdoor living space. The stepped hull design and contemporary construction deliver both performance and seaworthiness. Recent refit work has been completed on this example.
