The 2021 Leopard 45 is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended offshore cruising and comfortable living aboard. At 45 feet with a 24-foot beam, she carries twin 90-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. Her three-cabin layout accommodates families or crews with a rooftop lounge, teak decking throughout the cockpit, and a child berth in the forward port forepeak.
This yacht is extensively outfitted for independence and self-sufficiency. Power systems include a Northern Lights genset, a 2025 Quattro 5000 inverter, and a 3-bank RB300Ah lithium battery setup charged by 4 solar panels with MPPT controller. Fresh water comes from a Rainman watermaker. Raymarine electronics cover navigation and weather with an Axiom 12 helm display, Quantum 2 radar, AIS, and autopilot; Starlink and satellite phone provide connectivity offshore.
The sailing plan features a square-top mainsail, Code 0, Code D, and a bowsprit roller furler, with two electric winches on custom fiberglass-reinforced bases. On deck, a stainless steel davit system and custom arch support operations. An 85-pound Mantus anchor with 230 feet of chain, a stern shower, full cockpit enclosure, Weber grill, washer/dryer, and a dive compressor with bottle rack reflect her cruising focus. The tender is a 2022 Highfield CL360 with a 2022 Yamaha 25-horsepower outboard.
The yacht has been maintained by the original owner since new and has never been chartered. A full refit with new systems was completed in 2025.
