The 2021 Mako 236 Center Console is a 23-foot offshore fishing boat built on Mako's Deep V hull design. Powered by twin 300 hp Mercury engines, it combines performance and stability for open-water conditions. The fiberglass hull measures 8.5 feet across the beam.
The layout centers on fishing practicality without sacrificing comfort. The helm features a Garmin GPSMAP 8610 chartplotter and Mercury SmartCraft digital gauges integrated into the console, along with hydraulic steering and trim tab controls. Forward seating includes removable backrests and insulated storage with drains, while an optional bow filler table is available. An in-console head with 6 feet of clearance serves the cabin area.
The aft deck maximizes fish-handling space with two 22-gallon livewells, dual 135-quart in-deck fishboxes with gravity drains and a diaphragm pump, and a custom aluminum leaning post fitted with an 84-quart cooler and rod holders. A flush-folding, cushioned center transom jump seat provides additional seating. Port and starboard access includes a tuna door with hinged gate on the port side. A canvas T-top with electronics box covers the helm area.
