The 2021 Malibu Wakesetter 24 MXZ is a purpose-built surf and wake boat powered by a single 430 hp Malibu engine. At 24 feet with an 8.5-foot beam, it combines a wide, pickle-fork bow with a spacious layout designed to maximize usable deck space. The boat reaches a top speed of 39 mph and cruises at 26 mph, delivering the power and control needed for watersports or leisurely waterway cruising.

The interior and seating arrangement prioritize comfort and entertaining capability. The boat accommodates up to 15 passengers across plush black and red lounge seating, with a power-adjustable captain's chair for optimal sightlines. Upgrades include Seadeck flooring throughout, a hot water system, onboard heater, and a five-outlet shower. The Command Center features dual touchscreen displays and a rotary command dial for intuitive boat management.

The boat is equipped comprehensively for watersports and audio enjoyment. An electric ballast system enables quick wave setup, while a G5 Watersports Tower with power-lowering capability accommodates storage and bridge clearance. A walk-through transom provides easy access to the swim platform. The audio system includes two Wet Sounds Icon 8 speaker sets, a 12-inch subwoofer with dedicated amplifier, and a transom-mounted remote control. Additional features include a panoramic mirror, tower-mounted lighting and rack systems, a flip Bimini top with integrated surfboard storage, and boat and swimboard covers.

The boat shows 140 hours of freshwater use. It carries a custom blue and red exterior paint scheme.
