2021 Malibu Wakesetter VLX

The 2021 Malibu Wakesetter VLX is a 22-foot ski and wakeboard boat built on a fiberglass modified vee hull. It is powered by a 360 hp Malibu Monsoon M5Di inboard engine and has logged only 280 hours of use. The boat comes equipped with a custom matching road trailer.

The wake technology suite centers on a Surf Gate with Surf Band for instant wave switching, a Power Wedge III for adjusting wake shape and lift, and an integrated ballast system with fast-fill and fast-drain pumps managing up to 4,000 lbs. A G5 Tower with bimini top and board racks folds low for clearance. The Surf Pipe directs engine fumes underwater to reduce noise and emissions.

Helm and navigation features include a Malibu Command Center with dual high-resolution 12-inch touchscreens and one-touch sport presets, GPS-based Zero Off speed management with cruise control, and HD rearview and docking cameras. The helm seat is re-engineered with plush fabrics and a full swivel function.

The interior offers a Multi-View Wake Bench with sliding rear-facing seating, a flip-down swim step for water re-entry, Wet Sounds marine-grade stereo with speakers and subwoofers, and soft-grip non-skid flooring throughout. The traditional bow features plush seating, recessed speakers, and grab handles. A bimini top and boot cover plus mooring and towing covers are included.
