2021 Maree Haute DJANGO 980

The Django 980 is a 2021 Maree Haute sailing yacht built in fiberglass, measuring 34 feet with an 11.8-foot beam. Designed as a dual-keel vessel with a retractable aft keel for shallow-water navigation and beaching, it combines offshore seaworthiness with versatility in confined waters. The boat is powered by a Yanmar 3YM30 diesel engine delivering 30 horsepower, with 1,066 hours on the clock.

The interior layout comprises three cabins: an open forward cabin and two aft cabins, one with its own access door. The saloon features ample headroom exceeding 1.9 meters throughout, a well-designed galley with two burners and oven, and extensive storage lockers. A single head with shower completes the accommodation. Cockpit seating uses teak slats, and a folding table provides dining space. A retractable boom accommodates asymmetric spinnaker rigging.

The sail plan is comprehensive: a full-batten mainsail in DCX with lazy jacks and lazy bag, a jib on a Facnor Flat Deck 190 roller furler, a staysail on a mechanical furler, classical spinnaker with sock, asymmetric spinnaker with sock, and a 56-square-meter Code 0 on a mechanical furler. The main boom track and battens were installed in 2022, and the forestay was replaced in 2025.

Onboard systems include a Raymarine autopilot with ACU-200 controller and P70s console, Axiom 9 chartplotter with electronic charts, Raymarine AIS700 transceiver, and Raymarine Ray63 VHF. Power comes from a 12-volt refrigeration unit, 220-volt water heater with heat exchanger, Webasto heating, 2×77Ah service batteries managed by Victron controller, and a 220-volt shore connection with Cristec charger. A Plastimo Transocean 6-person life raft is aboard with next service due 2027. Additional equipment includes a retractable boom pole, navigation lights converted to LED, interior LED lighting, a 12kg anchor with 25 meters of chain and 25 meters of warp, moorings, and fenders.
