2021 Maverick 17 HPX-S

The 2021 Maverick 17 HPX-S is a shallow-draft flats boat engineered for running comfort, range, and poling performance in minimal water. Its hull floats in less than 6 inches and combines carbon-Kevlar construction with advanced naval architecture designed to keep occupants dry while maintaining precision handling. The boat measures 17.67 feet with a 6.17-foot beam and runs on a 70-horsepower Yamaha engine with 83.5 hours of use.

The layout centers on a tall console with removable cooler, front casting platform with stainless hardware, and removable bench seat with cushion and backrest. A poling platform sits aft, complemented by a 6-foot Power Pole Pro 2 and 21-foot Stiffy push pole. Rod storage includes three holders per side on the console and four under-gunwale holders with vanity rings on the bulkhead. The boat carries carpet under the gunwales with embroidered redfish accents.

Power and handling are managed by an Atlas Micro Jack Plate, SeaStar hydraulic steering with stainless Edson wheel and power knob, and Lenco trim tabs. The livewell features high-speed pickup and bubbler. Simrad Go9 electronics with 3-in-1 sidescan transducer, LED navigation and anchor lights, and stainless pop-up cleats round out the equipment. The hull is finished in Whisper Gray with Matterhorn White topsides and white powder-coated hardware.
