The 2021 Monterey 278SS is a 27-foot bowrider built for performance and versatility. Single-engine gasoline powered with an 8-foot beam, this boat combines open-water capability with practical cabin accommodations. The design supports destination cruising, watersports, and day boating with a thoughtful layout that balances socializing and comfort.

The helm features power-assisted steering with tilt adjustment, a leather-wrapped wheel, and comprehensive instrumentation including digital GPS speedometer, depthsounder with shallow water alarm, compass, and fog-resistant gauges with night lighting. The cabin includes a head with vanity, sink with pull-out sprayer, and solid surface countertop, along with synthetic wood flooring. A port-potti toilet is fitted for convenience.

Seating spans the boat efficiently. The helm has a port bucket seat with swivel, slider, and flip-up bolster, paired with a starboard bench seat with fold-down armrest. Bow seating includes cushions with storage and bolsters, while an aft L-lounge with sun island feature and stainless steel stern rail provides social space. A starboard-facing aft seat rounds out the arrangement.
