The 2021 Nautitech 46 Open is a fiberglass catamaran designed for extended cruising and exploration. Its 46-foot length and nearly 25-foot beam provide spacious accommodations across four cabins and four heads, with an open-concept design that emphasizes fluid movement throughout the galley and saloon areas. Two 50-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines deliver dependable power for both passage-making and station-keeping.
The boat carries a comprehensive suite of navigation and communication equipment. Dual Volvo Penta engines are paired with bronze folding propellers and drive seals maintained in June 2026. Navigation systems include two B&G Zeus 9-inch chart plotters at the helms, a B&G Zeus 12-inch display at the chart table, dual B&G Triton screens showing speed, depth, wind, and transducer data, B&G autopilot with extra control unit, radar antenna, VHF, AIS receiver, and wireless VHF. Starlink provides offshore connectivity.
Power management reflects modern cruising capability. The boat features a 9-kilowatt Onan generator, 2-kilowatt inverter, four 400-watt solar panels, and new gel batteries installed in November 2024. An electric water maker producing 100 liters per hour runs on both 12-volt and 110-volt systems. Reversible air conditioning and heating, a factory-upgrade 110-volt 60-hertz electrical pack, and Fusion Marine multimedia audio round out the systems.
The boat is equipped with a gennaker and code 0 sail, a new stack pack and trampoline both added in 2025, and a 20-kilogram delta anchor. Antifouling treatment was applied in June 2026. A comprehensive equipment package supports both day sailing and extended offshore voyages.
