2021 Ranger Tugs R-23

The 2021 Ranger Tugs R-23 is a 22-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin Yamaha outboards totaling 209 horsepower, delivering cruising speeds around 24 knots with a top speed of 32 knots. The design emphasizes natural light and visibility, featuring a curved windshield with overhead skylights, four opening roof hatches, sliding side windows, and an opening glass bulkhead that create an airy cabin environment.

The accommodations include a forward cabin with a teak table and flexible sleeping arrangements for two in the V-berth with filler cushion, a mid berth suitable for children or storage, and a convertible dinette that serves as a third berth. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, and microwave. A forward head contains a marine toilet with holding tank, shower, and sink.

Navigation and safety equipment includes a Garmin 942xsv GPS chartplotter with sonar and radar, VHF radio, stereo, illuminated compass, cabin and cockpit lighting, and built-in trailering lights. A bow thruster aids maneuvering. The cockpit includes rod holders and a folding double seat suitable for fishing or entertaining. One Yamaha outboard has 148 hours of operation; a 9.9-horsepower kicker is operable from the helm.

The boat comes with an aluminum Load Rite trailer, dock lines, fenders, bimini top, window covers and screens, and a windlass. A survey and compression test were completed in September 2025.
