2021 Regal 38 XO

The 2021 Regal 38 XO is an express cruiser that combines the presence of a much larger yacht with the responsive handling of a center console. Powered by three Yamaha engines producing 900 horsepower, it delivers the speed and agility to cover water efficiently while remaining manageable for a single operator. The hull spans nearly 39 feet with an 11.92-foot beam, with fiberglass construction and an enclosed salon that opens seamlessly to the cockpit and bow.

The layout prioritizes both cruising comfort and liveability. Below deck, a California queen berth pairs with a convertible king or dual twin configuration aft, and a proper walk-in shower serves the overnight cabin. The salon provides a genuine living space, while the open cockpit above allows crew to spread out. The galley includes refrigeration, and a gas generator powers onboard systems at anchor.

Navigation and boat handling are well supported. A full Garmin suite with dual 8616 chartplotters, HD radar, and autopilot rounds out the electronics. A Seakeeper 3 stabilizer reduces roll at anchor, while the Optimus 360 joystick control simplifies docking. Additional features include a bow thruster, cockpit grill, satellite weather, audio system, and cockpit TV.

The boat has been actively maintained. Recent work includes new engine batteries, new windlass motor and gearbox, replacement foot pedal switches for the windlass, new canvas covers on the aft enclosure and windshield, and bottom paint applied in late 2024. Generator and outboard services are current, and a CleanAHull ultrasonic antifouling system was installed to manage growth. The boat has been kept either on a lift or in water and receives regular professional washing and biweekly diver-assisted bottom cleaning.
