2021 SaltMarsh Heron 18

This 2021 SaltMarsh Heron 18 is an 18.5-foot fiberglass flats boat powered by a 2023 Mercury ProXS 115-hp engine with just 2 hours of runtime. The motor carries a platinum warranty through February 2031 and has been ceramic coated. The hull features ice blue sides with Matterhorn white decks and ice blue-matched wells. A 6-inch setback Atlas jackplate, ultra-flex hydraulic steering, and Lenco trim tabs with indicator switch comprise the steering and control systems.

The boat is outfitted for serious shallow-water fishing and sight-casting. A poling platform sits forward with dual rod holders, dual anchor pin holders, and spreader and LED lighting. A center stern livewell and two dry storage compartments provide livebait and storage capacity. Seadek covers the poling platform and under-gunnel areas. A 24-volt 54-inch 80-pound-thrust Minn Kota trolling motor with quick-release mount is mounted forward, supported by two Interstate AGM batteries and a ProSport HD12 two-bank 18-amp charger. The console features an Edson control binnacle.

Electronics include a Garmin 8610xsv multifunction display, GLS10 autopilot, Livescope LSV62 live sonar transducer, and full sidescan, downscan, and chirp transducers. A Fusion MS-RA770 stereo with four JL Audio speakers, Dakota Lithium house battery, and ACR OLAS Guardian wireless kill switch round out the systems. Bow-mounted LED nav lights and Seablaze Spectrum LED underwater lights add visibility. The boat includes a 22-gallon aluminum fuel tank and comes with a Float-On trailer featuring a folding tongue and upgraded jack.

The boat has been stored in climate-controlled garage conditions since the motor installation in early 2023. An optional 20-foot carbon fiber push pole and associated holders are available.
