The 2021 SeaVee 450Z is a 45-foot center console powered by quad Mercury 450 engines totaling 1,800 horsepower. The engines are custom-painted and covered by warranty through March 2026, with 400 hours on them. The fiberglass hull is finished with fresh bottom paint.
The helm features triple bolster seats with a second row bench, an electric slide-out cooler, and an Edson black wheel. Navigation and control systems include dual 22-inch Garmin chartplotters, a 16-inch Garmin unit, Garmin autopilot, a 1224 HD2 open array radar, Icom VHF radio, and a GXM54 satellite antenna. A custom fiberglass hardtop with a tournament tower includes 22-foot carbon fiber poles and Gemlux bases, with a rigid 40-inch light and full tower controls.
The boat is rigged for serious fishing with five livewells—four aft and one forward—fed by two 3-pump seachests. Rod storage includes 12 console holders, 39 gunnel rod holders with 2 swivel mounts, and 6 deck ring gunnel mounts. Five electric reel outlets power fishing equipment. A bow thruster and EZ Puller windlass with 600 feet of Spectra line aid boat handling.
Additional systems include a 9-kilowatt diesel genset, 75-amp service, 50-amp shore power, twin 16,000 BTU air-conditioning units, a Seakeeper 6AC gyro stabilizer, underwater and compartment lighting in multiple colors, and a Marine Guardian 2.0 alarm system with tracker. A Fusion marine stereo with JL Audio speakers and amplifiers—including multiple subwoofers totaling 3,400 watts—rounds out the electronics package. One head is aboard.
