The 2021 Steiger Craft 25 Chesapeake is a fiberglass pilothouse sportfisher powered by a single 300-horsepower Yamaha engine. Built on a deep-V hull, the boat features a relatively flat running attitude across a wide speed range. The design incorporates a raised cabin area with 77 inches of standing headroom and large wraparound windows that provide 360-degree visibility while protecting occupants from wind and spray.
The cabin includes a full-width bunk measuring 7 feet in length with 2.5-inch upholstered cushions, a marine toilet with holding tank, an insulated fishbox between the cabin benches, and a Bomar hatch overhead paired with twin portholes for light and ventilation. The pilothouse features an updated electronics dash capable of accommodating a 12-inch multi-function display, a new captain's bolster seat, and a doublewide crew bench with storage shelves, a knife rack, and a port-side rocket launcher. The cockpit spans 56 square feet with 28 inches of internal freeboard, outfitted with six flush-mount rod holders per side and horizontal rod racks, plus a 40-gallon recirculating transom livewell with upgraded hatch design.
Additional features include a bow thruster, a second complete helm station in the cockpit, enhanced rubrail, a redesigned bow pulpit, a raised rocket launcher with six rod capacity, and twin Blue Sea waterproof breaker panels. The boat comes with a trailer included. A livewell hatch upgrade minimizes backsplash during fish landing.
