2021 Thunder Jet 28 Pilot

The 2021 Thunder Jet 28 Pilot is an aluminum sportfish built for serious performance and all-weather operation. At 28 feet with a 9-foot beam, it combines a fully enclosed pilothouse with an open deck layout suited to fishing, cruising, or extended coastal work. Power comes from twin Mercury 200 hp outboards with 171 hours of use, supported by a Mercury 15 hp kicker engine.

The boat is equipped with a comprehensive electronics suite including dual Lowrance HDS 12 displays (front and rear), Lowrance radar, Point-1 antenna, and a Cobra VHF radio. Navigation and safety systems feature LED courtesy and navigation lights, windshield wipers, and trim tabs. A Wallas diesel heater provides year-round cabin comfort.

Fishing-focused features include an in-floor fish locker, livewell, downrigger plates and plugs, and rod holders. Deck and cabin storage are distributed throughout, with a washdown pump and electric bilge pump for maintenance. Below, the interior offers a dinette, enclosed head with marine toilet, Norcold refrigerator, alcohol cooktop, and suspended seating. Additional amenities include an aft station steering position, macerator, and LED strip lighting throughout the cabin.
