2021 Viking 38 Open

The 2021 Viking 38 Open is a diesel-powered express cruiser built on a composite hull. Twin Cummins engines rated at 1,100 horsepower total deliver the performance, with joystick control offering precision handling. The boat features a single cabin and head, arranged to maximize working and living space.

The design emphasizes fishing capability and comfort. The cockpit includes in-deck insulated fish boxes on both sides, an ice chipper, tuna door with lift gate, bait freezers with upper tray, transom fish box, and live well. Rod holders and tackle storage are integrated throughout. Two mezzanine-style seats flank the centerline walk-through, with refrigerated drink storage and general stowage. Fresh and raw-water washdowns are fitted for cleaning.

The helm is fully enclosed with air conditioning and sits raised on the centerline, providing commanding visibility. Port and starboard L-shaped lounges with storage underneath flank the helm. The command station includes a teak helm pod, Garmin electronics package, power-assist hydraulic steering, stainless steel wheel, and single-lever controls. Outriggers are installed.

The boat carries a Seakeeper, a Parker Pro Mini water maker, and Garmin electronics. A cockpit cover and window covers are included. The engines show 587 hours with recent service and fluid changes completed. The generator has also had recent fluid service.
