2021 XO 270 Explorer

The 2021 XO 270 Explorer is a hard-working aluminum catamaran built for serious cruising and open-water exploration. Its military-grade deep-V hull design delivers a stable, composed ride in rough conditions while maintaining strong performance. Twin Yamaha V6 outboards produce 500 hp combined, with 135 hours recorded. The boat reaches 47 knots at speed and cruises comfortably at 25 knots. Helm Master system controls include joystick manoeuvring, autopilot, and virtual anchor. Additional performance equipment comprises a bow thruster, Lenco trim tabs, suspension helm seats, and stainless steel three-blade propellers.

The cabin layout centers on a front-cabin explorer configuration with climate control via diesel heating and electric fans. The saloon includes a convertible table that doubles as an additional berth, a 40-litre refrigerator, sink, and portable gas cooker. An electric marine toilet with holding tank, 15-litre hot water system, 45-litre freshwater capacity, and aft cockpit shower complete the interior amenities.

Navigation systems include a 12-inch Garmin multifunction display with integrated sounder and fishfinder, Garmin radar with charts, VHF with AIS capability, and AIS transponder. Safety gear encompasses an offshore liferaft, EPIRB, and electric windlass with stainless anchor. The electrical plant runs AGM batteries with shore power and onboard charging.
