The 2022 American Tug 365 is a 36-foot fiberglass express cruiser built for extended cruising. Powered by a single Cummins QSB-380 diesel engine producing 380 horsepower, the boat delivers a cruising speed of 7.25 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots, with a range of approximately 1,600 nautical miles at hull speed. The boat has logged only 87 hours of operation.
Below deck, the layout centers on a single stateroom featuring a walk-around queen berth. The head includes a full 36-by-36-inch shower stall with hot and cold water, plus a separate cockpit shower. The salon offers an L-shaped settee that converts for guest sleeping, while the galley includes an L-shaped layout with Wilsonart countertops, dual sinks, and ample cabinetry. Additional interior finishes feature sapele and maple sole throughout the pilothouse and salon.
The pilothouse provides excellent sightlines and is equipped with a large chart table and electronics integration. The comprehensive Garmin electronics package includes dual 8612 multifunction displays, GMR 24 radar, AIS, wind system, and three additional GMI 20 displays—one positioned in the stateroom. Communication is handled by an Icom IC-M506 VHF with remote microphone.
Onboard systems are extensive: Victron inverter/charger, Northern Lights 6-kilowatt generator, Webasto Airtop 55 furnace and diesel heat, bow and stern thrusters, Steelhead 600 crane on the upper deck, and Force 10 three-burner propane stove with oven. Additional equipment includes an AB Mares VSX 10 fiberglass tender with 30-horsepower Tohatsu four-stroke outboard, Intellion satellite television system, and aft and engine room cameras.
